How a Hermiscale site is monitoredAn on-site collector polls switches, Avid NEXIS, NAS and Mac workstations over SNMP on UDP 161 and receives traps on UDP 162 and syslog on UDP 514. It sends encrypted batches outbound only, over TCP 10051 with a pre-shared key, through the site firewall to Hermiscale, which ingests, detects, notifies and publishes to the portal. Jump Desktop session logs arrive separately over HTTPS.
